Our liquidation and auction services are trusted by individuals, real estate agents, and estate attorneys. Uniques and Antiques is widely recognized as a pioneer in auctions featuring Mid-Century Design from 1930’s to 1990’s, holding our first “Modern Design Auction” in 1995.

We conduct our auctions on an Every 3 week schedule, We alternate between two main categories. Our Mid Century Modern Design Auctions feature curated items and decorator furnishings from the 1950’s through 1990’s. Our Decorative Arts Auctions feature antiques, fine and costume jewelry, fine arts, carpets, silver, collectibles, and the entire range of general estate items. Our auctions generally contain 2,000-3,000 individual lots. We accomplish this by starting the actions early and dividing the auction into two and even three simultaneous auctioneers selling.

KENT JACKSON
General Manager, Pennsylvania and Florida Licensed Auctioneer
Kent is a founding partner, PA licensed auctioneer, and graduate of the Certified Auctioneers Institute. Kent has worked in the auction profession and has conducted property auctions since 1987. He is a member of the National Auctioneers Association and the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association.
Kent’s experience working with many estate executors, attorneys, and property owners enables him to understand their needs and ensure smooth liquidation of personal property.

TIMOTHY AIKENS

Tim is a founding partner, PA licensed auctioneer, and graduate of the Certified Auctioneers Institute. Tim started working and buying at auctions as a young teenager and has been in the auction profession for over 40 years. Tim has conducted thousands of auctions since 1987. Over the years, Tim has gained knowledge and expertise through his passion for good design and tireless research.
At Uniques and Antiques, Tim performs merchandise evaluation, cataloguing and evaluations of estates and collections for auction. He is regarded as an expert in Mid-Century Modern Design, American Art Pottery, Designer & Modernist Jewelry, and Decorative Arts.
